Police have launched an investigation after a Swift Sprite touring caravan was stolen from the campsite of Fairport's Cropredy Convention in Cropredy, Oxfordshire. The theft occurred between 11.50pm on Friday, August 14 and 12.30am on Saturday, when an unknown offender hitched the caravan to a silver Mercedes and left via School Lane without lights. Thames Valley Police are appealing for information, CCTV or dash cam footage, quoting reference 43260422957. The festival, held from August 13 to 15, has capped ticket sales at 6,500, despite historically drawing up to 20,000 attendees.
