Motorhome Collides with Truck in Nagano

A car dealer from Ishikawa Prefecture announced its intention to expand the use of motorhomes in the Hokuriku region. Asu Motor, an official Nuts RV dealer, has been engaged in sales, maintenance, and rental of campers since 2020 and is considering developing models adapted to local conditions.

Lekvy started sales of the light camper Quokka, based on the Daihatsu Hijet minivan, through its official stores from April 2. The high-roof, front-wheel-drive model with a 5-speed manual transmission is priced from 2.64 million yen.

Carstay will provide up to five motorhomes as stationary accommodation at the 'rural 2026' festival in Fukushima Prefecture in July 2026. The cost is 250,000 yen per motorhome for 3-4 nights, accommodating 4-5 people, with bookings opening on April 1, 2026. The service aims to address the shortage of hotel rooms in the event area, particularly for international visitors.
