A 62-year-old man died from severe burns sustained in a fire that broke out in his caravan on April 25 in the Torrino Nord area. The blaze started around 10:30 PM on a public green area; preliminary investigations suggest a faulty gas stove used for cooking. Bystanders rescued the man before the vehicle was fully engulfed, but he succumbed to his injuries on April 28 after three days in intensive care. The caravan was completely destroyed and has been seized for technical inspection; judicial authorities have been informed.
