A fire broke out in a parked Fiat Ducatoⓘ caravan in the Kötekli district of Menteşe, Muğla province. The flames quickly spread to an adjacent Skoda Fabia car. Firefighters arrived and contained the blaze, preventing it from reaching a third vehicle, a Volkswagen Polo. According to preliminary reports, the fire originated in the caravan; the exact cause is under investigation. No casualties or injuries were reported. Both the caravan and the car were completely burned and are beyond repair.
