Michael Briggs, 55, of Hartsburg, Missouri, faces two felony charges after allegedly attempting to set fire to an occupied camper on Monday night. Deputies responded to South First Street around 9:50 p.m. and found Briggs pouring gasoline on a fire near the camper. He is held at Boone County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
