Residents of the Villas Caravaning motorhome park in Cartagena have asked the municipality to install individual water meters for each plot. The reason is a debt of more than €700,000 owed by the owners' community to supplier Veolia (formerly Hidrogea), which could lead to a water supply cutoff.
Concessionaire Veolia has notified of the suspension of water supply due to non-payment, and a debt repayment plan was not accepted. The city council promised to study the technical feasibility of installing meters and urged residents to settle the debt. Individual meters would help differentiate residents' responsibility.
