On Tuesday, a van collided with a caravan rig on the A7 motorway near the Quickborn exit. The van driver and a caravan passenger sustained minor injuries and did not require hospitalization. Inattention may have caused the accident, as the tail of a queue from a prior crash was still several hundred meters away. Cleanup operations restricted traffic to the left lane, resulting in a multi-kilometer traffic jam.
