Attempt to register camper with forged IDs leads to police investigation

In Vilnius, a Mobili House mobile home was stolen from a parking lot on Trenapolė (Trinapolis) Street on Sunday between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Damage estimated at €24,000; police have launched an investigation.

The Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania (LVAT) upheld an order by the Environmental Protection Department to remove a mobile trailer from a plot in the Šaipiai landscape reserve. The court ruled that the law prohibits keeping and using trailers in nature reserves for any purpose, including as auxiliary facilities for beekeeping, except for explicitly listed exceptions. The claimant failed to prove the trailer was actually used as a beehive rather than for temporary accommodation.

On May 4 at 4:25 PM, a homemade trailer caught fire in Smėlynė village, Troškūnai eldership. The fire destroyed two tires and about 2 square meters of the trailer's wooden planks.
