In central Italy, on the Terni-Rieti highway, a motorhome and a tourist bus collided head-on, killing six people and injuring 34. Preliminary reports indicate the motorhome crossed into oncoming traffic. The dead include both bus drivers and two occupants of the motorhome. Three injured are in critical condition and were airlifted to hospitals. Prosecutors have opened an investigation.
