Firefighters from Civitavecchia have been battling a fire since 18:00 at a former campsite located in the Frasca pine forest on Via di Torre Valdalga (referred to in some sources as Torre Valdalga street). The fire, fueled by vegetation, affected a significant part of the pine forest.
The flames threatened numerous caravans and bungalows, but firefighters created a barrier and contained the blaze, protecting them and preventing the fire from spreading. No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the incident is under investigation.
