On 7 September 2026, a Dutch tourist's caravan became wedged in a metal gantry on the suspension bridge over the Garonne on the D6 road between Sénestis and Le Mas-d'Agenais. Traffic was blocked in both directions for about ten minutes. The bridge has a width limit of 2.30 m and a height limit of 2.90 m; incidents occur there almost weekly. The driver unhitched the caravan, which was equipped with an autonomous electric system and was able to move on its own at very low speed. The towing vehicle sustained bodywork damage.
