On the afternoon of July 4, 2026, a large fire broke out in a camping area near the locality of Chervenka, close to Chernomorets, Bulgaria. According to most sources, the fire destroyed three bungalows and one caravan. However, two sources report five bungalows and one caravan burned. The fire is believed to have started in the kitchen area of one bungalow and spread to adjacent structures.
Tourists were evacuated, and no injuries were reported. Firefighting crews contained and extinguished the blaze, preventing it from spreading to nearby buildings. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
