New York State Police and forest rangers are searching for 73-year-old Craig C. Streeter of Mahopac (Putnam County). He was last seen on Aug. 2 at the Stewart's Shop in Indian Lake, wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt and jeans, after which he went camping in the Moose River Plains area of Inlet.

His RV was found on Aug. 17 at site 36 on Moose River Road in the town of Inlet, with no signs of activity. There has been no contact with him since Aug. 2. No criminal activity is suspected. According to police, Streeter is known to travel to remote areas, and his extended absence from contact is not unusual. As of Aug. 20, the search was ongoing.

Authorities ask anyone who saw Streeter or his RV, especially around Moose River Road, to call New York State Police at 518-897-2000, DEC Ray Brook dispatch at 1-518-897-1300 or 1-518-408-5250, or the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
