Three consecutive fires broke out early Sunday along Kifissou Avenue in Athens, destroying a van and a motorhome. The first two fires started in trash bins in Nea Filadelfeia and Peristeri and were quickly contained. A third fire around 03:30 in Moschato engulfed a commercial van and a motorhome. Firefighters extinguished the blaze with 6 vehicles and 18 personnel. The close timing of the incidents (all within one hour) has led authorities to suspect arson.
