On the A3 motorway in Filzbach (Canton Glarus) around 11:35 a.m., a head-on collision occurred between a passenger car and a motorhome. No injuries were reported, but both vehicles sustained considerable damage. Due to construction work at the Kerenzerberg tunnel, traffic on that section is currently guided in two-way traffic on a single lane. The 64-year-old female driver, heading toward Sargans, crossed into the oncoming lane for unknown reasons and collided with the motorhome traveling toward Zurich. Police confiscated her driver's license and ordered blood and urine tests. Traffic disruptions and congestion lasted over two hours.
