A 68-year-old e-bike (pedelec) cyclist has died in hospital two days after being hit by a motorhome in Lübeck. According to police, the accident occurred at an intersection while the cyclist was crossing on a green light.
The 85-year-old motorhome driver may have been under the influence of medication. A blood sample was taken and his driving licence was seized. An investigation has been launched on suspicion of endangering road traffic and causing death by negligence (some sources say manslaughter).
