The Regional Court of Feldkirch opened insolvency proceedings against Anaya Reisemobile GmbH on 15 September 2026. The company sold and rented motorhomes and caravans, repaired them, sold accessories, operated a wash facility and was a factory representative for Carado and Hymer. A restructuring procedure had already been opened in 2024 and was terminated on 3 April 2025 after a 20% restructuring plan quota was accepted. The new insolvency is attributed to failure to meet projected sales and rental figures for the 2026 high season (June to August). Liabilities amount to approximately EUR 1.2 million, with 22 creditors and 5 employees. The company agreed to closure because a positive going-concern forecast is no longer possible. Creditor claims can be filed until 27 October 2026; the examination hearing is scheduled for 9 November 2026, with attorney Dr. Bernhard Ess appointed as insolvency administrator.

The travel and booking portal camping.info analysed user behaviour and identified the 100 most searched-for campsites for the 2026 season. The ranking is based on search queries for more than 23,000 campsites in 44 countries between January and September 2026. Austria secured five places in the top 10, while the Falkensteiner Camping Grubhof in St. Martin bei Lofer, Salzburg, topped the overall list. Germany has the most campsites in the full ranking.

Franz Bauer from Kirchdorf, Austria, restored a caravan given to him by his sister Charlotte for his 50th birthday. Interior renovation began after 2012, while the exterior was painted by airbrush artist Michael Starzengruber from Ranshofen. The caravan features nostalgic motifs, 1960s musicians and a dancing hippie girl. Bauer uses it for trips to music festivals, including Nova Rock.

In spring 2026, Camping Judenstein opened in the municipality of Rinn, Tyrol, at an elevation of about 900 metres. The site offers pitches for motorhomes and caravans ranging from 80 to 110 m² with electricity and fresh water connections; water connections are not available in winter. Open year-round, it features a modern sanitary building with family area, a lounge, a terrace, free Wi-Fi and a shop. A 17th-century Baroque church is located on the grounds. Stays of two nights or more include the Innsbruck Welcome Card, which provides free bus travel to Innsbruck.
