Fire in Sindelfingen
On Sunday evening, 12 July 2026, around 23:45, a motorhome caught fire at a dealer on Leonberger Strasse in Sindelfingen. Flames spread to a second vehicle before firefighters extinguished the blaze. Damage is estimated at approximately €90,000. The cause is under investigation.
Theft in Schwabach
In Schwabach (Middle Franconia), between the evening of 9 July and the morning of 10 July 2026, unknown perpetrators stole an FCA Italy T65 GQ F3 motorhome with license plate N-RT975, parked on Wengleinstrasse. Damage is about €56,000. The Schwabach criminal police ask witnesses to call 0911 2112-3333.
Theft at flea market
At the flea market in Barßel-Elisabethfehn (Cloppenburg district), approximately €50,000 in revenue from stall rentals and catering was stolen from a motorhome. Organizer Claas Meier left the money unattended for ten minutes. Empty cassettes were later found at a rest area between Oldenburg and Bremen. The revenue was uninsured; a bank promised a loan, and friends started a fundraiser. €11,000 of the sum was intended for local clubs.
