A series of RV thefts have been reported across Spain. In Ceuta, on Avenida Barcelona, around 3:45 a.m. on July 7, a witness reported suspicious activity. Police found a broken rear window and a bag of food prepared for removal. Two suspects refused to exit, and an officer had to partially enter through the damaged window. Inside, the vehicle was ransacked, with open cabinets and damaged belongings. A third suspect, believed to be a lookout, fled. The detainees were taken to the station for processing and court appearance.
In Vitoria-Gasteiz (Basque Country), a 25-year-old man was arrested after the owner of a motorhome caught him stealing inside the vehicle at a parking lot in the Arriaga-Lakua area. The owner held the suspect until police arrived. The sunshade of the motorhome was found damaged. The suspect was handed over to judicial authorities.
In Tarragona, city police arrested a 36-year-old man suspected of stealing a caravan. A patrol spotted a caravan without license plates, bearing a UK plate. The man inside voluntarily exited. The caravan was reported stolen, and several UK plates linked to the case were found inside. According to the statement, the suspect had obtained keys to a house where he worked without permission and stole both vehicles.
