On August 7, 2026, a motorhome was stolen from Willy-Brandt-Allee in Luebeck. The owner used a GPS tracking system to locate the vehicle, and police found it and a suspect on Isaac-Newton-Strasse. The 49-year-old suspect was inside the motorhome and showed signs of drug and alcohol use, leading to a blood test. The next day, a court issued an arrest warrant for aggravated theft but suspended it, releasing the suspect.
