A camper van parked in Gwangju was set on fire on October 24 at around 22:53 local time. The fire was extinguished in 11 minutes; no one was injured. Firefighters deployed 14 vehicles and 37 personnel.
Police suspect arson: a 60-year-old woman, reportedly the owner's wife, allegedly started the fire after a quarrel, using a wooden stick. The exact relationship between the suspect and the owner is described as spouses by one source and as the owner and a woman by another.
