On the morning of August 25, a camper overturned on the road between the municipalities of Valdilana and Pray (Valfredda area, Valsessera). The driver was trapped in the cab, and firefighters had to intervene to free him.
Rescuers from Biella and Ponzone extracted the man from the mangled vehicle and handed him over to 118 medics. Carabinieri and an ambulance were on site. According to preliminary reports, the 52-year-old driver was trying to avoid a collision with a wild animal that had crossed the road. The causes of the accident are being established.
