Around 1,200 people were evacuated from a campsite near a beach in the Pas-de-Calais department in northern France due to two wildfires, local authorities said. According to the prefecture, one fire has been brought under control, while the second is not yet stabilized due to difficult access and the fire spreading south. The evacuees have been placed in a safe location.
