Nearly 3,000 people, including locals and tourists, have been evacuated in southern France due to severe wildfires. About half of the evacuees left three campsites in the affected areas, with many tourists being German, English, and Dutch. The fire started near Sainte-Marie-la-Mer and spread to Canet-en-Roussillon, where several mobile homes and holiday bungalows burned down. A total of 2,000 firefighters and aircraft are involved in the response, with over 30 fires burning across the country amid a heatwave.
