Bornholm resident Yanita Ivanova converted an old caravan into a hair salon and now serves clients at the harbor in Nexø. The 4-by-2-meter salon is fully booked on its first day. Ivanova plans to travel around the island, targeting elderly people at care centers who cannot easily visit regular salons.

The TV programme Nordseereport devoted an episode to the Danish North Sea island of Rømø. The feature covers camping on the island, where motorhomes are allowed to park directly on the 12-kilometre sandy beach.
