From 12 to 20 September, the Basilicata tourism board (Apt) is participating in the Salone del Camper in Parma to promote the region to visitors interested in outdoor tourism. Camping Le Fonti celebrates 50th anniversary

Camping Le Fonti in Cervarezza (Ventasso) marks 50 years since 1975. Since 1975, it has grown into a 4-star campsite at 1,000 m altitude with 260 pitches for motorhomes and caravans and 220 bungalows, most privately owned. It hosts tens of thousands of tourists annually, mainly from the Netherlands, Germany, France, Denmark and the UK. Since 1975, additions include an indoor pool, wellness centre, restaurant, bar, gym and playground. The restaurant is now Thai Pam, run by Thai chef Panjaree Boonchuay. Since 1975, three-day celebrations feature music, shows and lunch.
