From 22 to 24 May, a camper rally will be held in Fiorano Modenese, organised by the YouTube channels Giorgio Camporese and "Evado col Camper" with the support of the local Camper Club. About 30 campers from central and northern Italian regions, as well as from Campania, are expected.
The programme includes visits to the historic entrance of the Ferrari factory, the town hall of Maranello, the Fiorano circuit, the Salse di Nirano nature reserve (mud volcanoes) and the centre of Sassuolo. All movements will be strictly by bicycle.
The event aims to boost tourism. According to the club president, camper tourists spend money on local products and attractions, not just on parking. The local camper club, which manages a free municipal parking area, notes growing tourism: the parking area already hosts guests from Northern Europe, and the rally will attract about 50 tourists.
