TOKYO MX will broadcast a special program titled "Invasion! Front Line of Camping Cars" on August 16, 2026, dedicated to the evolution of camping cars. Host Yoshinari Tsuji, who has used camping cars for 16 years, will present a variety of models—from lightweight kei campers to luxurious bus campers—and accessories for a comfortable night's sleep.
The program will feature Kenji Araki, president of the Japan RV Association, discussing costs, the development of RV parks, and the use of campers in natural disasters, as well as actor Shun Nakamura (in one source, Shuzo Nakamura, winner of the 14th Camper Award). Materials from a symposium with Atsushi Tamura are also planned. The program will be available on air and on the TVer platform; the opening scene has been released on the association's official YouTube channel.
The organizing committee of the Yokohama Camping Car Show has announced the 2026 event, scheduled for September 26–27 at Pacifico Yokohama, featuring about 150 camper models.
