From February 25 to March 1, 2026, the Reise + Camping fair is being held in Essen – the largest travel exhibition in North Rhine-Westphalia. Around 750 exhibitors from 18 countries present motorhomes, caravans, campers, travel destinations and equipment.
Exhibits include an 11-meter motorhome priced at nearly €700,000 (excluding an additional car) and an e-bike for €3,000 equipped with an anti-theft system that activates a voice warning when moved.
Last year, the number of overnight stays at campsites in the region rose by 13%, reaching three million. An entry ticket costs from €12.
