Salone del Camper exhibition
The 17th Salone del Camper is taking place in Parma from 12 to 20 September. Italian Tourism Minister Gianmarco Mazzi visited the Basilicata pavilion. The event hosts over 310 exhibitors from 22 countries and more than 600 motorhomes and caravans across an area of 110,000 sq m.
Registration growth
According to Apc, registrations of motorhomes and caravans in the first quarter of 2026 increased by 14.96% compared to the same period last year, nearly double the European average.
Basilicata
Basilicata has 53 campsites and motorhome areas, which helps deseasonalise tourist flows. The Basilicata Apt is participating in the exhibition to present the region to visitors interested in auto tourism.
