GoodsPress has published a selection of seven items to combat heat during car trips and outdoor stays. The list includes a high-airflow portable fan, an air conditioner, an umbrella with a built-in fan, a cooling spray, a portable ice maker, a device for instant towel freezing, and a ventilated vest. Prices range from 1,760 yen to 68,600 yen.
At the Tokyo Outdoor Show 2026, held at Makuhari Messe (Chiba), portable air conditioners, ventilation systems, and refrigerators were showcased. Exhibits included the Outfield Breeze Box portable air conditioner (59,800 yen), a fan for the Mitsubishi Delica D:5 by 37CAMP, a Danner collaboration with ventilated clothing (32,780 yen), the ICECO GOPack12 portable refrigerator (approx. 7.1 kg), and the Alpicool HBS-1901 for making frozen drinks. A mist fan by BougeRV (12,980 yen) was also presented.
