Abruzzo at Salone del Camper
The Abruzzo region and chambers of commerce are promoting nature routes, cycling tourism and historic villages at the XVII Salone del Camper in Parma, running from 15 to 20 September at the Fiera di Parma exhibition centre. The region's stand is located in pavilion 02, area "Percorsi & Mete", stand L 008. The event is considered Italy's leading and Europe's second-largest gathering dedicated to campers, caravans and active tourism.
Italy's Tourism Minister Gianmarco Mazzi visited the region's stand during an official visit to the exhibition. At the stand, the region presented tourism offerings focused on outdoor holidays, including national parks, historic villages and routes for motorhome travel. Mazzi discussed with regional representatives the potential of outdoor tourism as a strategic tool for developing inland areas. The initiative by regional authorities and chambers of commerce aims to support local businesses and sustainable tourism.
