A motorhome was stolen in Lontzen, Belgium, on the night of 30 July 2026. Police reported that an attempted theft of the same vehicle had occurred two nights earlier. The stolen MC LOUIS TWID motorhome was spotted at 02:05 in Herve heading towards Liège. Authorities are asking for witnesses to come forward.

A motorhome was stolen on Rue de Liège in Lontzen during the night of 30 July 2026, after a failed attempt two nights earlier. The fifth edition of FestiVan, a festival dedicated to van conversions and nomadic travel, will take place on August 1–2 at Brasserie de la Gembloux. A 51-year-old man died in an explosion in his motorhome in Bertem, Belgium. The incident occurred on Korbeekstraat in Leefdaal. The Leuven public prosecutor's office classified it as an accident.

A large grass fire broke out along the E34 motorway between Oud-Turnhout and Arendonk on Tuesday afternoon. Fire crews took about two hours to extinguish the blaze, which spread over roughly 100 metres of verge. The fire is believed to have been sparked by a blowout on a caravan travelling on the highway. The right lane towards the Netherlands was closed during the operation.
