The fourth Yangzhou Motorhome Camping Carnival opened on 23 October in Chenji, a town in Yizheng, Jiangsu province. The main events run from 24 to 26 October at the Kongqueshan camping park. Around 300 motorhomes are on site, and more than 40 leading manufacturers are showing 150 models across 20,000 sq m.
A national production hub
Chenji is known as a motorhome town: one in every ten motorhomes made in China comes from here. The manufacturers Weihang, Saide and Romanters together hold 10% of the national market. The town's motorhome supply chain billed 570 million yuan in 2024 and 612 million yuan in 2025. In the first five months of this year, 708 motorhomes were sold for 360 million yuan.
In June, Yangzhou was named one of 40 pilot cities for reform of car sales and consumption, with motorhome camping as a key focus. A standards committee also reviewed four industry standards at the event. Visitors can join competitions, a market and evening gatherings.
