At the Tokyo Camping Car Show 2026, held July 11–12, 2026 at Tokyo Big Sight, Direct Cars will showcase a special version of the Bruno camper based on the Toyota Hiace. The model is co-developed with tuning studio WALD and limited to 5 units.
It features an all-black exterior design and an upgraded interior with premium materials. According to one source, the cabin is entirely black with two types of premium fabric, revised trim materials, and the 6-seat layout is retained. Another source mentions premium materials without specifics.
