Modellista, part of the Toyota group, presented the complete vehicle MRT (Multi-Role Transporter) based on the Toyota Hiace at the Tokyo Outdoor Show 2026 (June 26–28, Makuhari). The vehicle features a waterproof floor made of rigid PVC with 16 anchor points (each rated up to 50 kg) and an aluminum rear opening trim.
Two versions are available: Type I (floor only) and Type II (floor with side trim and boxes). For Type II, optional bed kit, folding table, and auxiliary battery are offered. The bed kit allows transforming the space into cargo or sleeping mode.
The MRT can be purchased through official Toyota dealers, with the option to include the cost of modifications in credit and retain the factory warranty.
