Survival expert Mattin has completed a four-year conversion of a former fire-service Unimog U1300L, purchased in Croatia, into an expedition camper. The vehicle received a raised roof adding about 20 cm of space, a new roof rack, a winch, new rear fog lights, exterior lighting and mounts for shovels. The cabin is a one-off build, and new fuel tanks of about 200 liters per side were installed. A refueling stop cost about 400 euros.
