Dutch company Vantrack has introduced the LightCamp modular camping system for the Kia PV5 Passenger. The system allows converting the electric vehicle into a camper without irreversible modifications.
LightCamp includes removable modules: a sleeping area, a kitchen with an induction hob and sink, a storage compartment, and a foldable roof tent. The modules attach to rails without drilling or bolting and can be removed in minutes, restoring the vehicle to its original five-passenger van configuration.
In camping mode, the PV5's high-voltage battery powers appliances, including air conditioning and external devices via V2L (up to 3.6 kW).
