Andreas and Nadine Hammann from Hainburg spent 11 months converting a 1980 Magirus Deutz LF 8 fire truck into a camper van. The interior includes a bed, kitchen, toilet, and space for dogs. The 80-hp vehicle served in a volunteer fire department in Hesse until 2011. The couple plans to showcase the project at the camping fair in Friedrichshafen.
