- 8x8 chassis, eight brushless motors at 48 V and 1000 W each (total 8 kW).
- Differentials are welded, allowing left and right sides to rotate independently and turn the vehicle 360° on the spot.
- Body made of marine wood and pine panels.
- Power: two 48 V 100 Ah batteries and two flexible 200 W solar panels.
Timeline and testing
The build took three weeks of planning and three weeks of assembly, followed by a two-day trip into the forest. During a test drive in the forest, cheap tires flew off the rims, and the front left axle broke due to lateral loads. The structure was temporarily repaired with improvised means, after which the camper drove back under its own power. The nearly 90-minute video gained 1 million views in two days.
