The municipality of Westerkwartier has ordered the owner to remove a defective camper from Grijze Hoogte in Leek by Thursday 8 October. An official notification letter is attached to the camper.
The vehicle was found on municipal land on 28 August. The owner received a warning on 4 September and was required to remove the vehicle by 18 September, but an inspection on 22 September showed that the camper had not been moved. The municipality states that the parking violates the General Local Regulations (APV), as the site is in an industrial zone and is not intended for long-term storage of defective vehicles.
If the owner does not remove the vehicle themselves, the municipality will apply administrative enforcement and tow the camper at the owner's expense.
