Southampton City Council is introducing a parking ban on Weston Parade to address resident complaints about long-term stays by motorhomes and caravans. The new rules, effective from Friday, include a six-hour daytime limit, overnight prohibitions, and a 'No Waiting' period from 10pm to 6am. The council cites obstruction of traffic, blocked waterfront views, and sanitary concerns as reasons for the restrictions.
