Tourist hotspots in the UK are imposing blanket bans on motorhomes and campervans due to overcrowding and conflicts with locals. The Campaign for Real Aires (Campra) argues that bans are short-sighted and that better facilities like European-style aires would solve the issue. A Campra survey of 6,731 owners found 88% dissatisfied with overnight parking availability. Over 500,000 motorcaravans are registered in the UK, according to DVLA.
