Cornwall proposes overnight parking ban for motorhomes at dozens of car parks

Portsmouth City Council's planning committee has refused an application to remove a condition requiring 80 overnight parking spaces for residents at the John Jenkins Stadium site. The charity Pompey in the Community, which runs the site, stated it cannot afford the estimated £200,000 scheme, potentially delaying the clubhouse completion. Local residents opposed the removal, citing severe parking shortages in Baffins, where 8,000–9,000 cars compete for 6,000–7,500 spaces.
