Mayor of Fermo Paolo Scarfini met with the residents' committee of the Tre Archi district to address urgent issues, including camper and caravan parking. Since September 15, a temporary ordinance banning 24-hour camper parking has been in effect; the administration will consider making it permanent. Residents also handed the mayor documents about a private area where campers allegedly continue to park, and reported a dilapidated portico on Via Aldo Moro that may be hazardous.
Gabriele Voltattorni of the Co.r.t.a. committee noted that violators continue to move around the area and are being fined. The condition of the portico on Via Aldo Moro, deemed potentially dangerous, was also discussed. Scarfini promised to address these matters after commitments related to the Palio di Fermo.
