Greek authorities have tightened beach conduct rules for the summer season 2026. Tents, motorhomes and caravans are banned outside licensed campsites, with fines ranging from €300 to €3,000. Portable speakers and loud music are considered noise pollution, fines from €100 to €500. Paddleboarding is allowed only up to 500 m from shore, one person per board, prohibited before sunrise and after sunset, fine €250. Pollution of the beach or seawater can result in fines up to €58,000.
