ADAC ends its fuel discount partnership with Shell on December 31, 2026. Starting September 1, 2026, Esso becomes the new partner, offering 2 cents per liter until October 15, then 1 cent. La Strada will present the new Avanti R camper based on the Fiat Ducato at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. For heavy motorhomes (over 3.5 tons), separate requirements apply, including blind spot detection systems. Vehicles already registered are exempt from retrofitting. The new rules are expected to increase the purchase prices of new motorhomes.
