A joint inspection by six agencies found more than 50 caravans, tents and cars in the forest above the beach strip at Karadere near Varna. This is the second inspection in two weeks, involving the Interior Ministry, RIOSV and the forestry authority.
In the Pasha dere area, 7 caravans were found; owners have been ordered to remove them by August 23. Violators face fines up to 3000 leva under a regulation in force since 2025. The mayor of Byala said 80% of caravans and campers at Karadere have already been removed, and the rest will be towed away.
