New regulations for caravan and tent accommodation have been introduced in Kandıra, Turkey, due to high coastal traffic in the summer season. The decisions were made by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality and Kandıra District Governorate. Caravan parking is now allowed only in the Cebeci and Bağırganlı caravan parks and other licensed areas. Parking on beaches, in forests, and other public spaces is prohibited. Violators face administrative fines, and repeated offenses may result in removal of structures by gendarmerie and coast guard units.
