The Sibillini Mountains National Park has restricted car and motorhome access to the Castelluccio plain during the lentil flowering season. The ban applies on four weekends from June 20 to July 12, 2026. A shuttle service is in place, including two new buses (electric and hybrid) purchased by the park. Motorcycles, residents, and tourist buses are allowed free access.
